INT – New board members RS500 International Class Association

The International RS500 Board is excited to announce the assignement of two new members to their board. They will replace Jochem Slikboer and Olivier Beyls as they step down by December 31st, 2020.

  • motivation message: “Hi! I’m Floris and I’ve been crewing in the 500 for the past 8 years now. I’m hoping to use my experience from the five 500 Worlds I’ve competed in to make the international competition stronger and to perhaps bring some innovations into the class. Why not strive to become the biggest social double handed sailing class of Europe?”

  • motivation message (by Petr Bříza, Chairman CZE RS Association): “Jakub Dobrý is one of our young sailors with successful history at RS Feva which successfully transitioned to RS500. He is actual winner of RS500 Czech National Cup for 2020. Over the time, Jakub has gained respect among national RS community for his commitment to sailing and sport achievements. He is also actively helping to other young RS sailors to develop their skills.Jakub is fluent at English, finishing his university study and he is ready actively participate on international development of RS500 class.
